I am involved in developing the formation of C-C, C-N bonds, and N-heterocycles in the dehydrogenative coupling of alcohol under mild conditions. Employing alcohol as building blocks, this methodology will allow access to a broad array of highly functionalized coupled adducts, including numerous drug analogs in a cleaner and greener way.  I am also involved in synthesizing new Co, Ni, Ir, and Ru complexes for the dehydrogenation and hydrogenation reaction of different substrates using alcohol.
